The quest for finding the ideal wood for our saunas led us to the Azores Islands in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. There we found a special type of Cedar wood, known as Cryptomeria Japonica. With it’s fragrant, soothing aroma and natural weather and stress resistance it’s a dream match for our saunas. 
 
All our wood is sourced directly from a family business on the Azores islands that grows and harvests sustainably.
